1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Karuppu.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this site. All materials on this platform are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

2. Use of Services

Karuppu.in provides citizen services including corruption reporting, emergency ambulance coordination, blood donation management, legal aid referrals, and community journalism. You agree to use these services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the platform.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration. Karuppu.in reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide false information, or engage in harmful activities.

4. Corruption Reporting

Complaints filed through Karuppu.in must be truthful and based on genuine evidence. Filing false complaints is a punishable offence under Indian law. While we protect whistleblower identities, we reserve the right to comply with lawful court orders requiring disclosure.

5. Emergency Services

Ambulance and emergency coordination services are provided on a best-effort basis. For life-threatening emergencies, always call 108 (Government Ambulance) first. Karuppu.in emergency services supplement, not replace, government emergency services. False emergency requests are strictly prohibited.

6. Blood Donation

Donor information is used solely for matching with blood recipients and sending donation reminders. Donor contact details are never sold to third parties. All blood donation activities must comply with the National Blood Transfusion Council (NBTC) guidelines.

7. Journalist Accreditation

Karuppu.in Press ID is an organizational credential, not a government-issued press card. The platform is not responsible for any actions taken based on this credential. All published content must be factual, ethical, and comply with the Press Council of India guidelines.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled per our Privacy Policy. We collect only the data necessary to provide our services. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting hello@karuppu.in.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Karuppu.in including text, graphics, logos, and software is the property of Karuppu.in or its content suppliers. The compilation of content is our exclusive property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Karuppu.in shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided on this platform.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu, India.

12. Changes to Terms

Karuppu.in reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
